Read all about the animal map. The animals for rent must be dairy cows, goats, cattle, sheep, pigs or other large animals suitable for display as breeding animals in the county where the 4 H member is registered. A certificate of insurance may be issued to prove coverage of a meeting or activity, but such a certificate does not relieve the owner/lessor of his liability. All pet rental contracts must be approved by liability insurance 4 hours before signing in order to verify coverage.
Even if the contract was not signed by a 4 H volunteer, the court may place 4-H coverage under the language of the contract or lease if the parent is interpreted to work under the 4 H programme. Breeding animals owned and hosted by a sponsor are rented by 4-hour members for the project year. A schedule for sharing with the owner during maintenance and training for each animal is developed and agreed. The four H members perform the planned tasks and participate in 4 H activities with the animals. Members of The Four H can only exhibit rented animals during 4 H shows to show rented project animals.
